For their photo shooting with Marie Claire, the members of SNSD got into very chic and glamorous dresses. Every member wears her very own colour presenting their uniqueness.
The contrast between the background and foreground of the photos represents how outstanding SNSD are. While the background is designed monotone in the colours, black and white, in the foreground you can see the girls of SNSD, who are simply shining in the brightly-coloured dresses they're wearing.
